(UPDATE) Mayor Karen Bass Expands Tax Relief Efforts for Businesses Affected by Fires

Following her action to postpone the 2024 City business tax payment deadline for businesses affected by the fires, Mayor Karen Bass today issued an Emergency Executive Order to waive 2025 business taxes for impacted firms. The order directs the Office of Finance to draft an ordinance to waive these taxes within 48 hours.
