Announcement of First Round Grants


The ACOC is pleased to announce that under the first round of grants, we have awarded $1,500 grants to 49 deserving recipients. These grants, facilitated by FireAid, are exclusively for relief and response efforts, adhering to established criteria.This initial round represents a significant step in supporting our community efforts to address and respond to the recent wildfire.


Second Round Grants

The second round of funding is now closed! Applications are currently being reviewed. As with the first round, the funds will be used solely for relief and response efforts.

Business Recovery Application Form


The ACOC Business Recovery Fund provides emergency grant assistance to help businesses and nonprofits recover from the devastating effects of the wildfires. Emergency grant assistance awards range from $500 - $1,500 per eligible applicant. Please note that funding is limited.


Eligible applicants must demonstrate direct impact from the wildfires and have a business/nonprofit within the Altadena affected area identified by state or local disaster declarations.


Eligibility Requirements

• Business/nonprofit must be directly impacted by the Eaton wildfires (e.g., lost or damaged business, or equipment). Documentation will be requested.

• Must have experienced a business loss or income reduction due to the 2025 Eaton wildfire within the affected areas of Altadena as identified by official disaster declarations. Documentation will be requested, and wildfire-impacted address will be verified.

• Must have been operational before the fire and be rebuilding/reopening in Altadena. Documentation may be requested.

• Open to all Altadena businesses and nonprofits.

• Any individual representing an organization through this application must be 21-years or older.

• Only one application and award are permitted per organization; and at this time, round one grant recipients are not eligible to apply for later rounds of this grant.


Application Process

• Complete all sections of the application form and submit it via the online form.

• Priority will be given based on need, including insurance status.
• Information about grant recipients will be kept confidential, except will be shared with the donors who fund these grants.

• Funds are limited.


Deadlines: Applications are reviewed three times a year with deadlines of
June 15, 2025, September 26, 2025, and December 15, 2025.
